Discovering the scents of the south
In our will to be more respectful of the environment we decided to banish the products of reception and to make discover our products through dispensers! This allows us to reduce our impact by limiting the waste related to the accommodation.
It is also important to us to put forward the local craftsmen, who year after year make their know-how live.
L’ÉCORCE DU SUD, PROVENÇAL SOAP FACTORY
The first ones we introduce to you are Jean-Luc and Christelle, founders of Écorce du Sud, they provide us with our soaps with the delicious and perfumed scent of monoi. Washing your hands has never been so pleasant!
Iel offers a range of products that will make you travel while respecting the values that are essential to them: respect for traditions and craftsmanship, aesthetics and of course the environment.
TRADITION, AESTHETICS AND ETHICS
They are members of the Association des Fabricants de Savons de Marseille (AFSM), being part of this association grants a guarantee of quality of the manufacturing process through :
1- Respect of the French and European regulations in force
2- Compliance with good manufacturing practices (ISO 22716 standard) using exclusively vegetable fats, and containing at least 68% fatty acids.
(Requiring a minimum of 68% fatty acids makes it possible to obtain a richer soap for the skin that contains much less water)
They are also committed to a societal and environmental responsibility (SER) approach on three main axes:
1- Controlling the impact of the manufacturing process on biodiversity
2- Reducing water and energy requirements throughout the production chain
3- Waste prevention and recycling
